Around the house maintenance had taken some priority over car preps. With
support from Jimmy and Jon preps we un-did our "open show" changes and
repaired the power steering box and pump.

Then I stepped in and messed up a few things. I messed up setting the toe.
I also drew another starting position from another town. Made a poor
choice in selecting tires to run. Managed to salvage a second in the heat
race. Saturday we were checking things over and discovered the toe issue
etc. Thought we had everything figured out.

Feature time Saturday eve. Holy "crud" (thanx Jr.). Worst handling car
I've driven in quite a while. Putting a right rear tire old enough to say
McCreary on it was a big mistake. I pulled it in to get that evil tire off
the car. Guys did well, got me back out in time. Made my way back up to
8th.

Thanks again to Jon and Jimmy. Having their help, support, and friendship
has just made this season my best ever.

Highlight of World Series weekend would have to be watching the races
Sunday. Made friends with a couple of young racing fans Kevin and Kyle.
We spent the afternoon picking favorites to win each race. Lots of fun.

The Mystic Missile v4 car finished off a challenging season with a 2nd
place finish. Chuck was on his game...and Greg and co. had the 4 car
dialed right in. It was a great race to watch!
