July 21st Race Report:

Following our win on July13th we had a busy schedule once again. I headed off to Loudon for the Mod Tour race. The car needed a bunch of TLC as the incident with the 28car caused many wrinkles. A cut in the right front tire had the fabric exposed...another bad night....almost.

Our heat race had us starting in the last row. I finally had some ample racing room, and was able to wheel the #73 to our first heat race win of the year. Some said it looked easy. Good preparation had paid off.

The feature race had us starting 13th. Our row didn't go at the start very well and we were many spots behind Glenn, Keith, and Scott by lap 2. By mid race the track seemed more like a six flags ride the a normal race track. reports had the #28 leaking I guess. Not certain but dark trails of fluid were visible. It made for some tough passing in the corners. We ended up 4th with our biggest competitors ahead of us. Glenn once again won the race. Hats off to the #3 team again!

see everyone Thursday for the big 40 lap race. We have been looking forward to this race since winning the 50 lap race last season.
